FAQ

Q. My mind has been too busy for meditation in the past. Will this work for me?

A.  Integrative Meditation is designed for people with busy minds. Thoughts are a natural part of the process, and there’s no need to stop thinking. We use a mantra, along with other techniques, to gently guide the mind inward. It’s an effortless practice, and with proper instruction, the process becomes easy and automatic.

Q. What is a mantra?

A.  In Integrative Meditation, a mantra is a meaningless sound with a specific vibration that resonates with the mind, helping to guide it into a deep state of rest (transcendence).

Q. I have a very busy life. How much time will this take each day?

A.  The more hectic life is, the more important it is to rest and recharge. Integrative Meditation takes 20 minutes, twice a day—just 3% of your day—to improve the remaining 97% through increased rest, recovery, and productivity.

Q. Do I have to sit cross-legged?

A.  No, Integrative Meditation doesn’t require a specific posture. You sit comfortably with your back supported, in whatever position is comfortable for you.

A.  No, it’s a simple mental technique designed to provide deep rest, dissolve stress, and improve well-being. It doesn’t require belief in anything and is practiced by people from all backgrounds.

Q. How long until I see results?

A.  Benefits begin from your first meditation and build over time. Most people feel calmer and more energized within the first week, but results may vary depending on the individual’s starting point of stress and fatigue.

Q. I already have a meditation practice. Will this conflict?

A.  Integrative Meditation can enhance any other practice you may have. There is no conflict with other techniques.

Q. What is transcendence?

A.  Transcendence is the fourth state of consciousness, where one moves beyond waking, sleeping, and dreaming into restful alertness.
