About

Sahar Zadah practises as an integrative therapist and meditation teacher on Bundjalung country in Byron Bay, Australia. Her work weaves together evidence-based approaches, mindfulness, somatic healing, and nature-based wisdom to create a safe, nurturing space for exploration and transformation.

Raised in the Byron Bay hinterland, Sahar grew up with nature as her greatest teacher. After experiencing a traumatic event at the age of thirteen that left her feeling disconnected from herself and the world around her, she began a lifelong journey of healing, grounding, and remembering. These early experiences taught her that healing is not linear, it is cyclical, tender, and deeply rooted in presence.

Now, as a mother of two and a custodian of 100 acres of regenerated rainforest where she has lived for over 15 years, Sahar continues to honour the earth as part of her therapeutic path. Her life and work are devoted to healing of the self, the collective, and the land.

Sahar collaborates with clients to develop a secure therapeutic relationship that supports self-discovery, emotional growth, and deeper connection. Drawing from a broad range of modalities, her practice integrates psychodynamic therapy, humanistic approaches, trauma-informed care, somatic practices, eco-psychotherapy, mindfulness, and transpersonal psychology. She is also influenced by deep ecology and both Eastern and Western philosophies.

Her approach is grounded, intuitive, and collaborative, always trauma-informed and embodied. Sahar believes that symptoms are not problems to be fixed, but pathways into the body’s deeper stories and wisdom. She supports clients to reconnect with their inner world, process held experiences, and integrate healing practices into everyday life.

Poetry, meditation, somatics, and ritual are part of Sahar’s world, not only as tools for transformation, but as ways to return to presence, beauty, and the truth within. She believes every person has the innate capacity to be their own healer, and that healing always begins within.
