Protecting Your Energy and Well-Being

Protecting Your Energy and Well-Being
  by Sahar Zadah

Your energy is sacred. It is the space from which you speak, create, feel, and love. And in a world that asks so much of us, often without pause, it becomes essential to tend to this energy with care. Just as we protect our physical health, we must also nourish and protect our emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.

The practices below are gentle invitations to reclaim your centre, release what is not yours to hold, and return to your own frequency of peace and power.

A Morning Ritual

Shield of Light

Each morning offers a threshold.

Before the world reaches for you, take a moment to reach inward.

Try this:
Set an intention

Whisper softly, Today, I choose clarity. I choose to protect what is mine.

Visualise your shield

See a luminous field of light around you—gold for strength, white for purity, violet for transformation.

Breathe into it

Let each breath fortify the light. Inhale strength. Exhale anything heavy.

Affirm

Only that which serves my highest good may enter. I am safe. I am sovereign.

This simple act becomes a container for your day, a way of remembering yourself before anything else.

Evening Clearing

Releasing the Day

We carry so much by nightfall, words, glances, disappointments, fragments of other people’s energy.

The practice of release is as vital as protection.

Try this:
Reflect gently

Ask, Where did I lose my peace today? What do I wish to return to the earth?

Visualise cords

See any lingering energetic threads detaching, dissolved by light or cut by a golden sword.

Speak the release

I release all that is not mine. I call my energy home.

Ground yourself

Imagine your feet anchoring deep into the earth. Feel her holding you.

Let this closing ritual be an act of returning—to self, to stillness, to spaciousness.

Reprogramming the Mind

Speaking to Your Thoughts

Not all energy is external. Our inner landscape the words we speak silently to ourselves, can either drain or uplift us.

Begin by noticing. Then soften.

I see this thought, but I don’t believe it.

I choose truth over fear.

I release this story and return to my breath.

In some moments, you may need to speak firmly:

You are not welcome here. I release you now.

And then return again, to peace, to breath, to presence.

On Boundaries or a Form of Devotion

Boundaries are not rigid walls.

They are rivers and thresholds.

They say: This is where I end and you begin. And here, I honour both.

A few reminders:

You are allowed to take up space.

You are allowed to say no without explanation.

You are allowed to choose rest, solitude, or silence.

You are allowed to honour your inner knowing, even if it disrupts someone else’s expectations.

Boundaries, when held with love, are a gift to everyone.

A Daily Practice of Energy Care

Caring for your energy is a ritual of self-respect. It is not something you do once, but something you return to, again and again.

Each breath a boundary.

Each moment a choice.

Each practice a quiet prayer: Let me stay rooted in my truth.

Let me remember who I am.
